Jim Alexander is Vice President, Relationship Manager for the Correspondent Banking Group. Prior to joining Amegy Bank of Texas in 1998, he spent 20 years with Allied/ First Interstate Bank as Vice President, Credit Operations Manager.

Jim has previously served as the President of the Texas Chapter of RMA (Robert Morris Associates) and as a National Director of NACM (National Association of Credit Management). He has been active in the Independent Bankers Association of Texas and is currently serving on the Leadership Board of Directors.

He is a native Houstonian and received his BBA Finance from the University of Houston. Jim also completed the 3-year Credit Union National Association Management School at North Texas University in Denton.  Besides being an avid golfer, Jim also enjoys travelling, wine tasting and discovering new restaurants.
