Employee Volunteerism: On average, our employees volunteer more than 34,000 hours in the community each year and are involved with more than 1,700 charitable organizations, including 66 schools in the Houston and Dallas areas.
On average, Amegy employees donate approximately 40 hours of personal volunteer service each year.
More than 200 of our employees have held leadership positions with nonprofit groups within the past year.

Corporate Campaigns: United Way Amegy Bank organizes an internal Bank-wide program each year to support the United Way. This drive encourages employee participation through a number of fun activities and always produces outstanding results.
As part of the 2007 Bank-wide United Way campaign, Amegy employees personally contributed more than $291,000. Additionally, Amegy made a $55,000 corporate gift to the 2007 United Way campaign. In 2006, our total United Way contributions equaled $242,000.
