Business Online Banking User Guide

3. Select “User Entitlements”

The first thing you will see when you complete the initial login process is the “Preferences” screen. Before you can access other areas of the site (including your account balance screens), you must set up entitlements. To begin this process, select “User Entitlements” at the top of the screen and follow the directions on the page.

4. Setting up User Entitlements

Business Online Banking is designed to allow multiple users and multiple access levels. “User Entitlements” refers to the amount of access given each employee. You may wish to “entitle” one employee with the ability to make funds transfers, and “entitle” another employee with the ability to view accounts only. Use the following procedure to entitle each user and give them the levels of access you desire.

You must entitle YOURSELF, even if you are the only one who will access the site. If others will be accessing the site, entitle yourself first, then entitle the other user.

  a. Password expiration period – Enter the number of days you would like to pass before requiring the user to change their password. It is recommended that you change passwords every 30 days.
  b. User Status – By selecting this, you grant the user access to Business Online Banking.
  c. Approver (For Dual Authorization Only) – Selecting this box will allow the user to authorize transactions that require dual authorization.
  d. Security Level – Selecting this box will make the user a Company System Administrator (CSA).  A CSA has the ability to change user profiles and access Business Bill Pay.
  e. User Access – To give the user full access to all features on all accounts, select “Fully entitle user for all accounts” and then select “Preview User.” To limit user access, select “Entitle user limited access to specific accounts” and then select “Preview User.”

STOP BEFORE YOU CONTINUE

  • If you selected “Fully entitle user for all accounts” on the screen above, skip to the “Preview User” section.
  • If you selected “Entitle user limited access for specific accounts”, continue setting up account entitlements

5. Setting up Account Entitlements

If you did not fully entitle the user for all accounts, then you need to determine which accounts the user may access, and what the level of access will be for each account. Follow the directions below to give the user specific entitlements to each account.

  a. Maximum single transaction limit & daily maximum limit – These limits only apply to Employee Direct and Tax Payments. These features are currently unavailable.
  b. User Access – Selecting this will give the user access to all items listed below.
c. Information Reporting
 • Current Day – allows user to view current day transactions on this account.
 • Previous Day – allows user to view previous day transactions on this  account.
  d. Payments
 • Bill Pay - disregard. All CSAs (and only CSAs) have access to Bill Pay.
 • Transfers - Allows users to make transfers.
  e. Services
 • Checks – allows user to reorder checks on this account.
 • Stop pay – allows user to stop payments on a traditional check.
  f. Preview and submit account – When you have completed all the information on the Entitle Accounts Page, select “Preview Account.” You will then see the “Preview Account” page.   When you are satisfied with the changes, select “Submit Account.”

6. Preview User

When you have completed user entitlements (and where needed, the account entitlements), the last screen you will see is the “Preview User Entitlements” screen. Once you are satisfied with the entitlement, select “Submit User.”

STOP BEFORE YOU CONTINUE

  • If you enable Dual Authorization when you enrolled, continue with approving changes.
  • If you did NOT enable Dual Authorization when you enrolled, you are finished.
