Yes. First Data will conduct a credit check to assess any risks associated with supporting your payment transactions. If a customer should dispute a charge, a chargeback could occur or a debit to your account. A credit check would be needed to guarantee that funds are available to complete any chargebacks.
No. Currently, businesses located outside the U.S. cannot accept payment processing with Amegy Bank’s Merchant Services. Only organizations with a physical U.S. address and checking account with Amegy Bank may process transactions through Merchant Services.
We can help you set up for Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. JCB is subject to credit approval. To receive authorization, please call JCB at 1-800-366-4522.

Yes. A percentage of each transaction amount will be charged to the merchant for collecting, approving and processing card transactions. The deduction will come from your business’ Amegy checking account. Applicable monthly fees will also be charged.
All of your hardware will be shipped between 5-7 business days following the approval of your Merchant account.
