Elisa Gilbertson is a senior manager in Weaver’s Public Sector Assurance practice, with a specialty in Analytics.  She has seventeen years of experience providing analytic and auditing services to companies in a variety of industries, including: higher education, non-profit, and state/local government.  She focuses on providing clients with risk-tailored data analyses, specifically in the areas of management override (manual journal entries), accounts payable, and payroll.  She utilizes her prior experiences as an auditor and school district administrator to offer practical insight throughout the analytics process. She earned a Master of Professional Accountancy degree and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and finance from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.  She is a Certified Public Accountant in the states of Texas and Wisconsin, and is AICPA-certified in Advanced Single Audits.
