Wire Transfer Services
Initiate a wire transfer anytime and from anywhere you have online access. You can also schedule and check the status of your wire transfers all from the convenience of your computer or mobile device.
To receive a Wire Transfer
Receiving a domestic or international wire transfer in your Amegy Bank account is simple. Just provide the sender’s financial institution with the information listed below. You can find and print the Incoming Wires Information page to give to the sender’s financial institution.

Sending Wire Transfers
To send a wire transfer
It’s easy to send a domestic wire transfer from your Amegy Bank account with many options to choose from. You can send a wire transfer from Personal or Business Online Banking, visit your local branch, or call for assistance over the phone.
To process online wire transfers (enrollment is required)
To enroll, download the Wire Application and Agreement for Online Banking and submit the completed form during your next visit to the bank. Or, mail the completed and notarized form to the address provided in the form.

If you’ve already completed the Wire Application for Business Digital Banking and are enrolled follow these simple steps to send a wire transfer in Digital Banking:
- Log in to Digital Banking
- Click on the Transfers tab
- Click on Wire Transfer (Under Transfer Tools)
- The “Complete A Wire Transfer” page will appear
- Follow the instructions to complete the wire transfer

To process in-person wire requests
- Recipient’s name
- Recipient bank’s name
- Sender and recipient bank’s American Banking Association (ABA) bank routing number (also simply known as the “routing number”) for domestic transfers — found on the bank’s web site or by calling the bank
- Recipient’s bank account number
- Any special instructions, if applicable
To process wire requests over the phone
- You must have a Amegy Bank Wire Transfer Agreement on file

For an international/overseas transfer, instead of the ABA routing number, you’ll need the:
- Sender and recipient bank’s SWIFT Bank Identifier Code (BIC)
- Sender and recipient banks’ International Bank Account Number (IBAN) for transfers within the European Union (called a SORT code for UK banks)
Foreign Currency Wire Transfer Services for Amegy Bank Corporate Business Clients
In addition to domestic wire transfers, Amegy Bank offers foreign currency wire transfers to more than 60 countries worldwide. From visiting your local branch to using the online Treasury Internet Banking® system, Amegy Bank offers business clients several options for initiating foreign wire transfers. Payments are sent by FEDWIRE® and SWIFT and are guaranteed to reach the beneficiary within two business days (excluding holidays).
